Together with 2,169 exhibitors, we from CELO for the first time presented the latest developments at the world's leading trade fair for lighting and building technology "light+building" in Frankfurt from 3 to 8 March 2024. In keeping with the theme of electrification and digitalisation, we were able to demonstrate our expertise in fastening technology and present time-saving innovations from the entire CELO Group.

Despite the strike at Frankfurt Airport, over 151,000 visitors travelled to the trade fair - 49% of them from Germany and 51% from abroad. As an internationally operating and family-run group with locations on three continents, we were able to cater to the needs of both international and German visitors and hold many interesting discussions. The response was consistently positive, which is also reflected in the trade fair organiser's figures, which indicate that 95% of visitors were satisfied.

The Highlights

Premium gas nailer FORCE ONE with accessories for the electrical sector

The highlight of the representative trade fair stand was the installation wall, which showcased the wide range of accessories for electrical fixings with the FORCE ONE premium gas nailer. These are perfectly suited for fastening cables and conduits for distribution boxes, light switches and lighting installations in a matter of seconds. The advantages of the FORCE ONE premium gas nailer (lightweight, powerful, well-balanced) were convincing during the live test on the concrete block on site.

Time-saving fixings for ETICS

Our innovations for ETICS-insulated façades were also very well received. The insulation plugs and screws from CELO can generally be screwed directly through the plaster into the insulation and are therefore ideal for time-saving and thermal bridge-free electrical fastening, e.g. of motion detectors or lamps. The comprehensive range contains solutions for ETICS insulation as well as thinner wood fibre or perimeter insulation.

New to the range were the beam fixings from CELO, which offer a quick mounting solution for a wide range of applications in the electrical sector. It would go beyond the scope of this article to go into all the products presented, such as concrete screws and cavity fixings.

The trade fair concept and our first participation in light+building turned out to be very successful. We will inform you in good time about whether we will be taking part in the next light+building from 8 - 13 March 2026.
