The concrete screw BTSB DIN 440 is optimally suitable for mounting heavy-duty wood constructions to cracked and non-cracked concrete according to the ETA-assessment Option 1. This concrete screw achieves highest loads combined with easy mounting (use of an impact wrench is recommended), obtains fire resistance class R 120 for more safety in case of fire, is approved for use under seismic action (C1) and may even be used to fix fire extinguishing pipe systems to concrete ceilings according to VdS guidelines.

Because of the three setting depths and the adjustability the screw is usable for a great variety of applications. The concrete screw as an expansion-force free anchor is also ideal for temporary fixings as it can be removed completely.

For higher corrosion resistance the BTS is available in zinc flake coating.

The BTS B DIN 440 already has an integral washer Ø 20 mm, but only the enclosed zinc plated washers (outer Ø = 44 mm) offer a larger contact surface and an ideal mounting solution for woodworking according to ISO 70984 (DIN 440).
