Product overview

The DIN 7331 with hexagonal head and long drill screw is made of high-tenacity steel to ensure a proper drilling into metal sheets and steel beams.

Its special drill bit has been designed to drill sheets and beams from 6mm to 12 mm thickness depending on the diameter of the screw. The washer is mounted on the screw and is made of steel with EPDM rubber to improve the tightness between the screw and the application.

This self-drilling screw is widely used to attatch pannels or mnetal sheets to channels or beams such as the European standard U (UPN, UNP) channels or UPN steel profiles (UPN beams) with a maximum thickness of 12mm. For thicknesses under 5 mm please refer to the self-drilling screw 7301.
