Due to its shapely trumpet head (for flush countersinking), the IPS 80T is perfectly suitable for the connection of two insulation boards such as e.g. PU rigid foam boards, fastening of dimpled foils or for the sheathing/insulation of ventilation ducts.

The IPS 80T is also suitable for fixing smaller attachments in the insulation material, e.g. motion detectors, lighting, signs, etc. As with all IPS versions, the head hole can also be used for light fixings (using a Ø 3.5 mm screw). It joins the family of thermal-bridge-free fastening solutions.

Due to the sharp drill point, there is no need to pre-drill into plaster (up to 7 mm). The TX25 drive enables extremely fast installation.

The insulation screw is made of glass-fibre reinforced nylon and is therefore resistant to ageing, weathering and it is UV resistent.
