What is ResiTHERM® 8?
ResiTHERM® 8 is a thermally separated distance mounting system for fixing medium loads to insulated façades. The system is suitable for insulation thicknesses from 60 to 200 mm and can be used in concrete, aerated concrete, solid brick, hollow brick and timber.
Its key advantage is the range of connection options based on a single system: an M10 internal thread, M8/M10 external threads or FX8 + screw provide maximum flexibility for a wide range of fixing applications – including downpipes, wallboxes, lights and window shutters.

Different applications require different connection options. ResiTHERM® 8 offers three connection options based on a single system, providing flexibility for a wide range of fixing applications.
M10 internal thread
For attachment parts with a compatible M10 thread, e.g. shutter hinges.
M8/M10 external thread
Threaded stud with zinc flake coating, e.g. for downpipe clamps.
FX8 + screw
For M5/M6 screws or chipboard screws with diameters of 5, 6 and 7 mm.
Typical applications
ResiTHERM® 8 is suitable for fixing medium loads to insulated façades. Thanks to its various connection options, the system can be used flexibly for a wide range of fixing applications.
Typical applications include awnings, French balconies, rainwater downpipes, guide rails for roller shutters and roller doors, wallboxes, larger lights, heavy letterboxes and window shutters. Small satellite dishes, handrails, lightweight grilles and lightning protection components can also be fixed using ResiTHERM® 8.

Flexible across different base materials
ResiTHERM® 8 is designed for fixing to insulated façades with different base materials. In combination with the ETA-approved MFR 10-60 multifunction frame fixing, the system enables mechanical anchoring in concrete, aerated concrete, and solid and hollow masonry.
Direct fixing into timber substructures is also possible without a frame fixing after appropriate pre-drilling. This makes ResiTHERM® 8 a highly flexible solution for a wide range of installation situations.

No. ResiTHERM® 8 is designed for quick installation without the need for special tools. The integrated milling ribs allow the system to cut effectively through the render during installation.
ResiTHERM® 8 features an integrated, weather- and UV-resistant EPDM sealing ring that seals the fixing point at the render surface. This eliminates the need for an additional sealing step with sealant to protect against driving rain.
ResiTHERM® 8 is mechanically anchored in mineral base materials using the ETA-approved MFR 10-60 multifunction frame fixing. The ETA applies specifically to the MFR 10-60 and its approved applications and base materials.
